
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Arabi condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Algerian army soldiers in Ain Defla province.
This came during a phone call between Arabi and Algerian Foreign Minister Ramadan Lamamra.
At least 11 soldiers have been killed in an attack by militants in Ain Defla, west of Algeria's capital, on Thursday.
Arabi asserted to Lamamra that the AL sides with Algeria to face and eradicate terror, a press statement of the AL said.
Arabi offered condolences to the Algerian president and people over the army victims of the attack.
