
Anti-Narcotics Police of Bahraini Ministry of Interior has arrested a gang of 23 members and 2KG of raw heroin, clothes saturated with the same substance, narcotic pills and other materials worth BD2 million were seized. According to BNA, the Director General of Crime Detection and Forensic Science at the Bahrain Interior Ministry said that the department was informed about a gang located in Muharraq that has and sell narcotics. He said that after investigation the suspects were identified and arrested upon obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecution. The confiscated items were found at the suspects’ residence. He added that investigation also found out that the gang has transferred a huge amount of money outside the country of around BD775,000 after it had obtained from selling narcotics.
