
Observing the UAE National Day is a celebration of a process that started off smoothly and steadily toward a bright and promising future, based on the principles and noble values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and other founding fathers, Mansour Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the National Media Council, NMC, has said.
In a statement on the 45th National Day, Al Mansouri said that the people of the UAE are continuing the comprehensive development process inspired by the Spirit of the Union.
"The achievements accomplished during the course of the Union prove day after day the ability of the people of the UAE to achieve success and turn challenges into opportunities," Al Mansouri said. By doing so, the people of the UAE pledge allegiance and loyalty to the nation and the wise leadership that has spared no effort to boost the state's prosperity at various levels and in all fields, he added.
Al Mansouri noted that with the determination of its sons and daughters, the UAE managed to demonstrate developmental experiences that gained respect and appreciation worldwide. "This has been attained under the wise leadership that believes in the capabilities of its citizens and worked to make them happy to ensure a bright future for them, and for future generations," he said.
At the conclusion of his statement, Al Mansouri, extended his congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates, on the occasion of National Day.
