A Palestinian official stressed on Sunday that an inclusive national dialogue and not a tete-a-tete dialogue between Hamas and Fatah is the only way to settle inter-Palestinian differences.
The situation will worsen more if the internal Palestinian crisis continues further more or a solution outside the framework of national dialogue is reached, Secretary General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine Nayef Hawatmeh told MENA.
He urged Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to discuss with the Egyptian leadership the possibility of hosting a comprehensive Palestinian dialogue in Cairo.
Enough with bilateral solutions between Hamas and Fatah, he said, calling for engaging all Palestinian movements in the reconciliation process, he said.
No practical step has been taken since a reconciliation agreement was reached between Fatah and Hamas in April of 2014, he said, warning that the Palestinian people has started to lose confidence in both the Palestinian presidency and Hamas.
He also warned that mutual media war between Hamas and Fatah is of no good to the Palestinian issue at all.
