Egypt's National Council of Human Rights (NCHR) on Saturday said a competent committee mulls reports on alleged enforced disappearances complaints in different circumstances.
In a statement, the NCHR added that all reports received from Egyptian families along with local, regional and international organizations are being probed in the light of international standards of human rights and the United Nations mechanisms in dealing with such complaints.
The statement said that the committee has been in contacts with all organizations concerned and complainants to fill out forms prepared for such cases.
It added that the NCHR committee deals with state bodies concerned to assess the accuracy of these allegations.
The council urged the families to communicate with the committee to provide information available in this regard.
