
New Zealand Minister of Trade Todd Michael McClay expressed his country's readiness to contribute to the establishment of "modern Egypt" through cooperation in the domains of agriculture and education.
Egyptian ambassador in New Zealan Tareq al Waseimi said in statements after meeting McClay that the minister welcomed the convocation of the joint trade committee in Wellington in March.
According to the ambassador, the New Zealand minister said New Zealand businessmen and government agencies welcomed cooperation with Egypt in food industry as well the establishment of ideal farms for producing vegetables and animals.
The minister also expressed his country's readiness to cooperate in the education domain with establishing a New Zealand University to help Egypt achieve an economic boom.
