
Aswan Governor Magdy Hegazi asserted on Thursday that no casualties resulted from the fall of four blocks of rocks in Gharb Sohail town in Nubia on Wednesday.
He said he headed for the town to reassure on the citizens and safety of houses located in the precincts of the hit area.
He also gave directives to form a technical committee that will prepare a report specifying endangered areas in the governorate and ways to avoid such incidents in the future.
The governor also called on residents not to be present near rocks or build under them because they may fall at any time.
