The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) supported on Thursday the measures taken in response to Yemeni leadership's request to end the state of chaos in Yemen imposed by Houthis.
OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani said in a statement the organization follows up the developments in Yemen voicing full support for the step taken by pro-constitutional legitimacy countries to rescue Yemen from the state of chaos imposed by the Houthis.
The OIC has earlier warned against Houthis continuation of their adventure in Yemen and their impact on the region.
The OIC rejects any interference in Yemen that puts at stake internationally-backed legitimate President of Yemen Abd Rabbou Mansour Hadi, noting the organization warned earlier against civil war in Yemen and imposing a status quo on warring parties in Yemen.
