
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the atrocious mass murder of thirty Ethiopian Christians by the affiliate of Daesh group in Libya.
The Secretary General of the OIC, Iyad bin Ameen Madani, expressed horror at this latest execution of innocent persons which adds to the long list of the brutalities committed by this group of criminals and outlaws. He noted that this incident has again highlighted the need to further step up international collaboration to combat and eradicate the menace and terror of Daesh.
Madani also added that the OIC is in the process of forming a group of wise person to visit Libya to push forward for a social and political equilibrium to move Libya to a state of national identity, shared values and transitional institutions.
The Secretary General also conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Ethiopia over the tragedy, assuring them that the OIC shares in their grief.
