Organisation of Islamic cooperation chief to meet Sisi on Tuesday

Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani will meet on Tuesday with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the chairman of the 12th meeting of the Islamic summit conference in Cairo, according to a statement issued by the OIC on Monday.
Medani is also scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri as well as a number of Egyptian officials, the statement read.
During his meeting with Sisi, the OIC chief will discuss a host of topics of mutual concern, topped by the latest developments in the Middle East and the efforts and initiatives of the organization at the regional and international levels.
The meeting will also tackle the Egyptian role in pushing the joint Islamic action in all fields.
