The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) welcomed here Thursday the GCC's Riyadh Agreement on November 16, saying it would mend the rift amongst Gulf nations.
OIC's Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani lauded the agreement reached amongst Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, noting that the accord will usher a new age of strong Arab and Islamic cooperation.
It is time for the Arab and Muslim nations to stand more together against threats and challenges facing them, said the OIC Secretary General who added that the most urgent matter to address was the continuous Israeli desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
