
The Amman-based Palestinian National Council (PNC) called Thursday for emergency meetings by the Arab Inter-parliamentary Union and Parliamentary Union of the OIC member states (PUIC).
In a statement, the PNC asked the two parliament unions to discuss laws passed by Israel's Knesset announced to be applied on the illegal settlements built on the occupied Palestinian territories.
Israel's Knesset should be warned on the danger of passing such laws which violate the international laws, the statement said.
The statement urged the Arab and Muslim states' parliaments to reconsider relations with the Knesset which takes part in war crimes and violations committed by the occupation forces and illegal settlers.
According to the statement, the parliaments of Asian, Mediterranean and European countries to exercise pressure on Israel to refrain from its continued violations against the Palestinians.
