
Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister Riyad al-Malki briefed Director for North Africa, Middle East, Arabian Peninsula, Iran and Iraq in the European External Action Service (EEAS) Christian Berger on the efforts to mobilize support for the Palestinian leadership's steps during the the United Nations' session.
During their meeting on Tuesday, the two sides also discussed the latest political developments and the worsening humanitarian conditions due to the Israeli aggression.
Al-Malki stressed the importance of the European support of the upcoming Palestinian leadership's political step aimed at ending the occupation and establishing the independent state of Palestine.
Berger called for a comprehensive agreement between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
