Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad al Malki denied Thursday news fanned by the Israeli media recently that Palestine will not go to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to issue a resolution against building Israeli settlements.
In a press statement, al Malki said that Palestine saves no efforts to achieve that aim, adding that the Palestinian side work on resuming its consultations with the Arab and foreign member states in the UNSC as soon as possible.
The consultations are carried out via Egypt which is a member state in the UNSC, the statement read.
This comes as the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu neglects the international condemnation to establishing settlements and stealing the Palestinian territories, the statement added.
