Palestinian official praises British MPs vote for recognizing Palestine

Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeinah has praised a recent vote by British MPs, who voted in favor of recognizing Palestine as a state alongside Israel.
"The British recognition is a step on the right path that enhances chances for peace," Abu Rudeinah said.
The vote is symbolic and has no practical impact on British government policy.
In statements on Tuesday, Abu Rudeinah called on British government to quickly recognize the state of Palestine.
