
Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Al Hamdallah Thursday received MP Yahya Al Saud and briefed him on the political situation and the Palestinian government’s efforts in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting, which was attended by Jordan's Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Khalid Shawabkeh, Al Hamdallah stressed the strong relations between the two countries, praising Jordan's leadership, government and people for supporting the Palestinian issue at all the international forums, the protection of the Al Aqsa mosque and the holy sites in Jerusalem.
The Palestinian premier welcomed the visit of Al Saud, calling on Arab countries to intensify their visits to Palestine in order to support the Palestinian people.
MP Yahya Al Saud is currently visiting Ramallah to attend the meetings of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Central Council.
