Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas left Cairo on Monday after a four-day visit, during which he met with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and intelligence chief Mohammad Tohamy.
Abbas also participated in a meeting of the Arab foreign ministers, which was hosted by the Arab League.
In Cairo, Abbas discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, especially after the Israel aggression on the Gaza Strip and the seaside enclave's reconstruction efforts.
He also discussed resuming the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations to reach a permanent cease-fire and set the stage for the establishment of a Palestine State on the 1967 borders with Al-Quds as its capital.
