Palestinian president, Qatari emir hold telephone conversation

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held on Saturday a telephone conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, QNA reported.
During the conversation, the Palestinian President expressed thanks and appreciation to the Emir for the regional and international efforts he exerted to calm the situation and achieve ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
The conversation also dealt with the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and efforts being made to help the Palestinian people in the wake of the destruction caused by Israel's war machine.
