Parliament elects standing committees in Kuwait

The National Assembly elected on Tuesday members of the Parliamentary Standing Committees for the second ordinary session of the 14th legislative term, in accordance with article 93 of the constitution. Article 93 of the constitution provides that the parliament shall set up its committees during the first week of its annual meeting. The parliament elected today MPs Dr. Massouma Al-Mubarak, Rakan Al-Nisf, Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Kanderi, Osama Al-Tahoos and Dr. Yousef Al-Zalzalah members of the Committee concerning drafting the reply to the Amiri Speech. MPs Saadoun Hammad, Roudhan Al-Roudhan, Dr. Khalil Abdullah, Ahmad Al-Azmi and Faisal Al-Duwaisan were elected members in the Committee for Public Petitions and Grievances. MPs Mohammad Tana Al-Enezi, Askar Al-Enezi, Abdullah Al-Turaiji, Abdullah Al-Adwani and Sultan Al-Shammeri were elected members in the Committee on Internal Affairs and Defense. MPs Faisal Al-Shaya, Mohammad Al-Jabri, Rakan Al-Nisf, Faisal Al-Kanderi, Safa\'a Al-Hashem, Hmoud Al-Hamdan and Khalaf Demaitheer were elected members in the Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. MPs Dr. Massouma Al-Mubarak, Faisal Al-Duwaisan, Mubarak Al-Hurais, Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Kanderi, Talal Al-Jallal, Yaqoub Al-Sani\'a and Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Jeeran were elected members in the Committee on Legislative and Legal Affairs. MPs Dr. Khalil Abdullah, Dr. Oudah Al-Ruwaie, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Jeeran, Ahmad Al-Azmi and Hmoud Al-Hamdan were elected members in the Committee for Education, Culture and Guidance. MPs Saadoun Hammad, Khalil Al-Saleh, Dr. Hussein Al-Quwai\'an, Hamad Al-Harshani and Saad Al-Khanfour were elected members in the Committee on Health, Social Affairs and Labor. MPs Kamel Al-Awadhi, Ali Al-Rashed, Saleh Ashour, Hamad Al-Harshani and Hamdan Al-Azmi were elected members in the Committee on Foreign Affairs. MPs Abdullah Al-Tamimi, Dr. Mohammad Al-Huwailah, Dr. Ali Al-Omair, Mohammad Al-Hadiyah, Madhi Al-Hajri, Adel Al-Kharafi and Osama Al-Tahoos were elected members in the Committee on Public Utilities. MPs Adnan Abdussamad, Mohammad Al-Jabri, Dr. Yousef Al-Zalzalah, Riyadh Al-Adsani, Dr. Mohammad Al-Huwailah, Adel Al-Kharafi and Dr. Ali Al-Omair were elected members in the Committee on budgets and final accounts. MPs Saif Al-Azmi, Jamal Al-Omar, Roudhan Al-Roudhan, Majed Al-Mutairi and Abdullah Al-Tamimi were elected members in the Committee on the Protection of public funds
