His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, prayed together with his daughter Sheikha Al Jalila on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Pictures were shared on an Instagram account maintained by Sheikh Mohammed's fans.
Sheikh Mohammed has also sent cables to the rulers and heads of state of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He expressed his wishes of health and happiness and for their peoples' continued progress and prosperity. He also wished for the Arab and Islamic nations pride, honour.
Sheikh Mohammed, who is very active on social media platforms, even posts pictures of family outings and important meetings.
Last year, Her Royal Highness Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of Sheikh Mohammed, performed Umrah with her daughter Sheikha Al Jalila. Princess Haya took to the social media platform to share pictures of her trip to Makkah with her daughter to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.
