
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab praised Wednesday the role played by NGOs in charity works.
This came during his meeting with Ali Gomaa, former mufti and CEO of Misr el-Kheir charity institution, Neyazi Sallam, president of Egyptian Clothing Bank, and Hossam Qabani, president of Orman Charity Association.
Mahlab paid tribute to them on their initiative to provide onevmillion blankets for needy people with the winter approaching.
The initiative's organizers were keen on purchasing Egyptian-made blankets to boost the national industry.
