
The Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi took part in the consultative session hosted by the mission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in New York on Monday on the sidelines of the 69th session of the United Nations' general assembly.
Attended the meeting OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Chief Abdel-Latif bin Rashid al-Zayani.
The meeting took up means of promoting joint cooperation as well as other issues of common interest, according to a statement issued by the organization.
The get-together tackled also the Palestinian cause and the latest developments in Syria, Libya, Iraq and Yemen as well as the means of combating terrorism as well as Arab and Islamic worlds' issues.
