Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria urged on Sunday newly-appointed Metropolitan Archbishop of Jerusalem and the Near East Anba Antonius to preserve the Coptic Church property in the Palestinian territories.
In a word after the consecration ceremony, Pope Tawadros said the Egyptian Church has many properties in the Palestinian territories and the new Metropolitan Archbishop should work for preserving them.
The Pontiff also urged him to set up good relations with all churches and denominations in Jerusalem as well as the six other countries he will serve in.
Pope Tawadros thanked the governments and authorities of the six countries for allowing the establishment of churches to serve Egyptian Copts there.
