Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese cast his ballot in the second phase of the parliamentary elections.
All citizens should participate in the elections, Pope Tawadros said after voting, adding that the presence of a strong parliament is in Egypt's benefit.
Passivity does not build a nation, he said, adding that all youths should participate in the elections.
