Arab League Secretary General Nabil El Araby said preparations are currently underway for the 26th Regular Arab Summit to be held in Egypt in March.
At a press conference held on Sunday at the Arab League premises, Araby said the coming summit convenes at a very critical timing for several countries in the region.
He also underlined the importance of clearing the Arab atmosphere especially after the Egyptian-Qatari reconciliation thanks to the efforts exerted by Saudi King Fahd bin Abdel Aziz and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jabir, head of the Gulf summit.
Araby said the Arab League followed up with deep relief the efforts exerted to realize Egyptian-Qatari reconciliation, especially the Qatari's move to suspend the broadcast of Al Jazirah Mubasher Masr Satellite TV.
He voiced hope that Doha could take further steps to clear the atmosphere in the coming period.
