
The Sudan Ambassador to Egypt Abdal-Mahmoud Abdal-Halim has stressed that the visit of President Al-Bashir to Egypt on Saturday would create a new outset for the relations of the two countries in all fields and it would be a strong pulse for bolstering of joint cooperation.
The ambassador said, in statement to SUNA, that the visit of the President of the Republic was important in terms of timing and implications as it is the first visit for President Al-Bashir to Egypt in the era of the current Egyptian President Abdal-Fatah Al-Sisi and it comes as a respond to the recent visit of Al-Sisi to Sudan. He added that the importance of the visit emerges from the files it touches including political, economic and social files.
Abdal-Halim pointed out that the programme of the President of the Republic includes a close-door meeting with Egyptian counterpart, adding that the two sides will hold joint talks in the presence of the two delegations and the ministers from both sides will convene bilateral meetings. The President of the Republic will meet a fair a mount of prominent Egyptian figures as well as the Egyptian businessmen and investors.
The ambassador of Sudan to Egypt added that the two presidents would hold a joint session of talks in the second day of the visit on Sunday in the presence of the ministers of both sides to get acquainted with the outcomes of the joint meetings of the ministers, revealing that the two presidents are to give speech to the media at the conclusion of the visit.
