
President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has received Sunday in Algiers Louai Mahmoud Taha Aissa, who handed to him his credentials as the new ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Algeria.
The audience was attended by Minister of State, Principal Private Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic, Ahmed Ouyahia, and Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel.
"I am pleased to meet his Excellency President Bouteflika, who asked me about the recent developments in Palestine, in Gaza and in al Quds, and inquired about President Abu Mazen," said the Palestinian ambassador at the end of the audience.
"I was pleasantly surprised by the interest attached by President Bouteflika to all issues related to Palestine," he added.
