
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who offered condolences over the killing of 21 Egyptian Copts by Daesh terrorist group in Libya.
During the call, Tsipras strongly condemned this terrorist act, voicing support for Egypt in its war against terrorism.
President Sisi also received a call from Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, who slammed this terrorist act.
Malta stands by Egypt in fact of this heinous terrorism, Muscat said.
Muscat offered condolences for President Sisi and the Egyptian people for slain Egyptian Christians in Libya.
He underlined the need to protect the sovereignty of Libya and work to restore security and stability in the North African country.
For his part, President Sisi extended thanks for Greek and Maltese premiers.
Sisi called on the international community to unify their ranks to wipe out terrorism.
