
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail expressed his pleasure at the expanded participation of the Egyptian companies in the 49th session of the Cairo International Fair.
The fair is attended by about 400 firms from 12 Arab and African countries.
Ismail stressed that the country is keen on supporting and encouraging the local products.
During inspecting the pavilion of India which is the guest honor of the fair this year, the premier said that there are unique relations binding the Asian country and Egypt.
Ismail inspected also the pavilions of Indonesia, Kuwait, Sudan, Pakistan, Kenya, Lebanon, Togo, Sri Lanka, Algeria, China and Iraq.
He also visited the big pavilions showcasing the products of the ministries of Military Production, Agriculture, and Supply.
The prime minister was accompanied by the ministers of trade and industry, military production, supply, investment and petroleum as well as Cairo governor and number of ambassadors of the countries taking part in the fair.
