
His Royal Highness Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud received a Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) delegation led by DeputyChairman Mohammed bin Jalal who conveyed greetings from Supreme Council forYouth and Sport (SCYS) Deputy President and (BAA) Chairman Shaikh Khalid binHamad Al-Khalifa.(BAA) Executive Director Yusuf Ahmed also attended the meeting at the KingdomHolding Company (KHC) in Riyadh. Mr. Jalal briefed HRH Prince Al-Waleed bin Talalbin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on (BAA) lined up programmes and activities to honourBahrain in different arenas, in line with the directives of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.HRH Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal commended the initiatives of Shaikh Khalid binHamad Al-Khalifa., citing particularly the "Khalid bin Hamad Challenge", whoseproceeds went to benefit cancer patients. He hailed the initiatives and achievementsof Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympiccommittee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.He lauded deep-rooted historic relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, payingtribute to the leaders of the two countries for their wisdom and statesmanship. HRHPrince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud extended his greetings to ShaikhNasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, affirming hisconstant support to Bahrain.
