
Proceedings of the 37th session of the permanent Arab committee on human rights kicked off at the Arab League Headquarters on Sunday under the representative of the Sultanate of Oman Mohamed Bin Sulaiman al Rashidy.
The five-day session is attended by human rights officials from Arab countries and non-governmental organizations.
In statements, Rashidy said the agenda includes many issues such as the report of the general secretariat on the implementations of the previous sessions on human rights and the disdain of religion.
It also includes means to implant the correct concepts of citizenship in the minds of Arab youth and a proposal to modernize the Arab agreement on refugees' conditions and social integration in the Arab world.
