Syria's Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al Moallem said Thursday the Syrian army is making progress on all fronts, with the support of the Russian Air Force.
In a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Moallem thanked the Russian leadership under President Vladimir Putin for its sincere efforts in supporting Syria against terrorism.
Moallem condemned the Turkish attack on the Su-24 aircraft, saying that it was an act of aggression that challenged Syria's sovereignty.
For his part, Lavrov pledged that Russian support for Syria's anti-terror efforts will continue.
He added that Moscow would continue providing all the necessary assistance to Damascus in its war against terrorism, parallel with launching a political process.
