
Hundreds of Yemeni students and youth organized a protest in front of Sana'a University against the Houthis demanding their ousting from the Yemeni capital.
The Yemeni security forces, supported by public committees, prepared for this demonstration, blocked the road to the university and dispersed the protesters who fled to side streets.
Some of the demonstrators were injured, while dozens of Houthis organized a march under the protection of the security forces.
The Yemeni political activists, who participated in the demonstration, accused the security forces of allowing the Houthis to wear security police attire and deploy in front of the university to prevent the students from taking part in the protest.
The Houthis attacked the peaceful demonstrators as well as the journalists whose cameras were seized. (MENA)
