Public prosecutor orders freezing assets of Doksh family over criminal charges

Public Prosecutor Nabil Sadek on Monday ordered freezing all assets and property of Hafez Amin's family over their indictment in criminal charges, drug trafficking, weapons possession and money laundry.
The freezing decision includes all members of the family of Amin Hafez Amin, which is better known as "El Doksh Family", his wife Eman Hashim Abdel Halim, his four minor children, Farag Hafez Amin, his wife and his three minor children as well as other family members.
A juidicial source at Banha prosecution said the defendants face charges of drug and arms smuggling, money laundry through the purchasing of farmlands, property and cars. The family assets and property are valued at EGP 20 million.
