Qatar on Wednesday condemned the "indiscriminate bombing pursued by Israel in its aggression on the Gaza Strip" which "affected hospitals, schools of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA)and houses of safe people." "The Israeli aggression (on Gaza) has turned into a series of horrific massacres against civilians that shocked with its horror the whole world," the Qatari Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the Qatar News Agency (QNA) today.
It added "deafness of the international community institutions to the distress screams of the children of Gaza is a stain of shame on the forehead of these institutions, foremost of which being the United Nations Security Council." The Ministry called for a stop of "aggression, opening of crossings and lifting of the siege clamped on the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza."
