
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani ratified the Decree No. 30 of 2014 to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ecuador signed in Quito on 16/02/2013 annexed to this decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
HH the Emir also ratified the Decree No. 31 of 2014 ratifying the agreement on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investment between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of Belgium–Luxembourg Economic Union signed in Doha on 06/11/2007 annexed to the decree and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The two decrees shall be implemented from the date of issue and are to be published in the Official Gazette.
HH the Emir Issues Instruments of Ratification
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday issued an instrument of ratification approving the ratification of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on cooperation in sea water desalination and the treatment of wastewater for re-use signed in Doha on 27/01/2014.
HH the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft MoU for cooperation in health sector between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania signed in Doha on 13/04/2014 .
HH the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on the regulation of employing the Albanian workers in Qatar signed in Doha on 13/04/2014.
HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving the ratification of an agreement on cooperation in the cultural field between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Peru, signed in Doha on 20/02/2014.
