
Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Attiyah lauded here on Tuesday efforts exerted by Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah during his chairmanship of the GCC Ministerial Council.
Speaking at the onset of the joint ministerial meeting of the foreign ministers of the GCC members states, Jordan and Morocco held here today, the Qatari minister said Sheikh Sabah Khaled had made sincere and praiseworthy efforts over the past period.
He welcomed the participation of the Jordanian and Moroccan foreign ministers in the meeting.
Al-Attiyah also expressed condolence to Morocco over the victims of the floods that hit some areas in the kingdom recently.
He reiterated that it is the shared goal of everybody to fulfill the expectations and hopes of the peoples of the GCC member states, Jordan and Morocco, underlining the significance of partnerships, cooperation and integration.
The Qatari foreign minister also spoke highly of the positive outcomes of the last meetings thanks to joint efforts made to promote and shore up inter-GCC cooperation and coordination.
