
Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held here on Wednesday talks with visiting Iraqi President Fuad Masum on relations between the two countries and the ways and means of promoting and consolidating them.
The two sides discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Qatari Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and a host of ministers as well as the Iraqi president's accompanying delegation, it said.
Masum arrived in Doha earlier on Wednesday for an official visit to the country. Upon his arrival, he was received by Qatar's Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammad bin Saleh.
