
The State Qatar will take part in the 14th meeting of Heads of civil retirement and social insurance authorities in GCC state, to be hosted by Kuwait on October 27 and 28 October.
Qatar's delegation to the meeting is headed by President of the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, HE Turki Mohamed Al-Khater.
The agenda for the meeting will review several issues most important of which being developments of the application of the unified system to extend insurance protection to GCC states including a discussion and analysis of statistical data for civil retirement and social insurance, particularly with regard to the number of registered persons in accordance with the regulations, required payments and recipients of benefits.
The meeting will also follow up developments with regard to the unified website of all the retirement authorities in the GCC and setting a date for its operation and study of proposals related to the preparation of awareness campaigns including campaigns addressed to employers and beneficiaries.
