
The Qatari Cbainet has condemned the continuing Israeli incursions and attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque and their dangerous implications especially in light of Israel’s plots to impose its full control on the islamic sanctities in the Holy City Of Al Quds.At the outset of its weekly regular session held at the Emiri Diwan premises here at noon Wednesday under HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani , the cabinet has called for an urgent and at the highest level an arab and international drive to counter the Israeli aggressive practices and its discard of and disregard to the international law and the international legitimacy related resolutions, its ongoing and escalating violations against the islamic sanctities and its in -purpose provocations to feeling of the muslims and which would in turn step up tension in the region .Thus such practices would stamp out any hope for a just ,durable and comprehensive peace that ensures the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people with their right to establish their independent state with Al Quds Ash-Sharif as its capital to the fore, said HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for the Cabinet Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud in a statement following the cabinet meeting.Then the cabinet considered topics tabled on its agenda as follow: First: Approving a draft law on regulating the government purchases. It aims at putting into force the decentralization policy in government contracting deals and upgrading the government contracts and its purchasing system to cope with the best global standards through the use of the state of- the- art information technology (IT) and supporting the competitiveness of the small and medium enterprises and the national and environment friendly services to achieve principles of justice , equality , equal opportunities , transparency and the value for money.
