
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani has issued a number of decrees including formation of Supreme Council of Police College and appointment of Director General, Dean of academic affairs and department heads at the College.HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior issued decree No. 16 of 2014 appointing Brig. Dr. Mohammed Abdulla Talib Al-Mahanna Al-Marri as Director General of Police College and decree No. 17 of 2014 appointing Dr. Hassan Abdul Raheem Al-Sayyed as Dean of Academic affairs of the College.HE the Premier and Minister of Interior also issued decree No. 18 of 2014 appointing :1. Capt. Dr. Jabr Hammoud Jabr Al-Nuaimi as Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at Police College.2. Capt. Fahd Saeed Al-Subaiee as Director of Training Department at the College. HE the Premier and Interior Minister also issued decree No. 19 of 2014 forming the Supreme Council of the Police College as follow.1. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Talib Al-Mahanna Al-Marri, Direct General of Police College – Member4. Brig. Mahdi Mutlaq Al-Qahtani, Director of Training and Patrols Department at Lekhwiya – Member5. Brig. Badr Ibrahim Al-Ghanem, Director of Technical Office for HE the Interior Minister – Member and Rapporteur6. Col. Abdul Rahman Majid Al-Sulaiti, Director of Strategic Planning Department of the Ministry of Interior – Member7. Dr. Hassan Abdul Raheem Al-Akoor, Dean of Faculty of Law, Qatar University – Member8. Dr. Khaled Mohammed Al-Hur – Member9. Dr. Yousuf Mohammed Obaidan Fakhroo – Member10. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Hadi – MemberThe membership of the Supreme Council will be for 4 years and it can be extended for similar period/periods. The Council will establish a system of work that includes necessary rules for the exercise of its powers and shall have all the powers necessary to overcome any obstacles; It also has the right to form sub-committees or working groups as required.
