Qatar's advisory council holds regular weekly session

The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular meeting of the 43rd ordinary session under the chairmanship of HE the Speaker Advisory Council HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.

At outset of the meeting HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayareen read out the agenda which was agreed upon. Then the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.

The Council discussed amending some provisions of law no. 34 for 2006 related to communication. The council agreed to refer the issue to the the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to examine the issue and present its report.

The council also discussed a report by the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a draft law regulating. The council decide to refer their refer its recommendations to the cabinet.
