Head of the Popular Committee against the Siege Jamal al Khodari praised Egypt's decision to re-open the Rafah crossing in both directions for three days as of Tuesday, saying the decision has relieved the suffering of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
In statements to MENA here on Tuesday, Khodari said such step is important particularly after opening the crossing for a whole week from June 12 till 19 which help elevate the suffering of passengers particularly those who were stranded at the border crossing.
He thanked Egypt for the decision which also allows construction materials into the besieged enclave.
Everyone awaits keeping the terminal opened to meet the humanitarian needs of Palestinian passengers, he said.
