Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour said the Nile water is a national security issue for Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, asserting that the leaders of the three nations await joint agreements to come out of negotiations on the Ethiopian dam for the best interests of the three countries.
Addressing the six-way ministerial meeting which opened here on Sunday, the minister said the meeting will resume previous discussions on the dam.
He asserted the importance of the role played by media in supporting these targets.
