
The Sabah Al-Ahmad village in Garut town west the Java province of Indonesia celebrated recently Kuwait's 54th National Day and 24th Anniversary of Liberation, said a statement by the Kuwaiti Embassy Tuesday.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Indonesia Nasser Al-Enizi told KUNA via phone that he was proud of the fact that the Kuwaiti funded village had celebrated his country's national days, noting that such gesture reflected the strong contributions by Kuwaiti charities abroad.
The village folks have expressed their joy with the advent of Kuwait's national celebrations and such festivities showcased the keenness on part of the Kuwaiti leadership and people in helping others around the globe, said the Ambassador.
The celebration at the village was organized by the Kuwaiti embassy in cooperation with Kuwaiti charitable societies and local officials.
