
The Tripoli-based Secretariat General of the Sahel and Sahara (Sen-Sad) Grouping announced that it will send a high-level mission to monitor the elections in Sudan, scheduled in April 13, reported SUNA.
The Sen-Sad mission will be headed by the Deputy Chairman of the National Society in Niger, Daoud Mamadu, who will be accompanied by a number of senior officials of the member states in the organization and its Secretariat General.
The Sen-Sad mission is due to arrive in April. It is to be recalled that the Sahel and Sahara is second largest Grouping in Africa after the African Union.
