
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, has received an Infrastructure Certificate - Level Four, the highest global award for database centres.
Receiving the certificate from the TUViT organisation, the Database Centre in the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police (GHQ) is the first in the Middle East, Africa and East Asia to achieve this honour.
Sheikh Saif received the certificate last night in his office from Antonius Sommer, CEO of TUViT.
The certificate is an essential and reliable component of the information technology industry, with regard to systems, processes, and infrastructure.
The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant-General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major-General Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and a number of senior officers.
