
The Southern Governorate's Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa emphasized the firm bonds between the two peoples the solid foundations of which have been laid down by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
The governor praised the historic bilateral relations which reflect the amicable mutual familial and cultural bonds. between the two kingdoms and their peoples.
These remarks from the governor came during the visit of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Malik Al Al-Sheikh to the Southern Governorate to familiarize with the Governorate's services, functions and programmes that boost its social security role for all individuals and components of the community and its accomplishments.
The ambassador lauded the remarkable role which portrays the urbane image and prosperity and the governorate's accomplishments in line with the reform project of His Majesty the King, at the same time stressing the solid bilateral relations inherited by both peoples from the forefathers down to the present day.
The visit included the displaying of a short footage about the Southern Governorate's historic social and civilizational profile.
The Saudi Ambassador was familiarized with key current projects and toured the Governorate's pavilion, praising the efforts and contributions of all the various departments, divisions, projects and programmes into community development and advancement.
