
Saudi Arabia has paid an equivalent of $60 million to the Palestinian Authority, the value of its monthly contributions to the Palestinian state budget, Saudi Ambassador here Ahmed bin Qattan said.
The Saudi Fund for Development transferred the sum to the bank account of the Palestinian Finance Ministry for the three months of January, February and March; $20 million for each month, Qattan said in a statement.
The Saudi kingdom has increased its contribution to the Palestinian Authority since January 2013 from $14 million to $20 million monthly, he said.
