Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on Sunday received a telephone call from Yemen's President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
The deputy CP and Hadi discussed the latest developments in Yemen as well as efforts of the coalition supporting the legitimacy to restore stability in Yemen.
The talks also dealt with Saudi relief, humanitarian and medical aid scheduled to be delivered to the Yemeni people through A five-day humanitarian truce, slated for Sunday.
The Arab coalition is to suspend bombardment of Houthi rebels in Yemen for five days, so aid can reach civilians.
The truce will come into force from midnight on Sunday. However, the coalition said it reserved the right to respond to "military activity or movement" by Houthi rebels during the ceasefire.
